We're almost number twins (everything about you is slightly better tho). Best of luck!

Apparently, law schools actually look at other factors besides GPA and LSAT. I know, I was shocked too. Plus, it's not like my 2.86 was in a liberal arts major. I figure it's at least the equivalent of a 3.20 in English :)

All costs being equal, Northwestern is my obvious choice at this point. But with the scholarship UIUC offered, I could go to a #27 ranked school in the same state for half as much money, which will save me over $50,000. I have some thinking to do.

Penn Deferment

I am in the same situation with a penn deferment. I was also wondering about waitlist v. deferment, but the deferment definitely seems more hopeful. Did you send in additional documentation?

That's a bummer. It seems like you would be a cool classmate. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
