Additional info & updates

Took the LSAT three times, with a cancel the first time. I expected to score much higher in December as I was PTing between 170-178 consistently, but I am a poor standardized test taker under actual conditions. Applied late in early January.

I will try to update this regularly as I know there is minimal information for Mexican-American applicants, and that can be frustrating! Why so many applications with less than stellar numbers? No regrets!

1/11/2012 - University of the Pacific McGeorge - Received acceptance call from the assistance Dean and letter in the mail about a week later. $25,000/year plus books for first year. Nice to have good news first, and super fast turn-around time.

1/19/2012 - Washington and Lee - Waitlisted. A bit bummed, but seeing as they make so many acceptances (around 80%) before January, I guess I'm not too surprised. Hopefully good news to come in the upcoming weeks.

1/28/2012 - Received admit packet from USD. Yay! Very excited about this, as I love SD and could definitely see myself going to this school. Scholly money to come, hopefully!

1/30/2012 - Waitlisted at UC Hastings via email. Was expecting either a WL or accept, but was leaning more towards a WL, so this was pretty expected.

2/03/2012 - University of Illinois Urbana Champaign - Accepted via email on with scholly of $22,000/year!

02/06/2012 - University of Co Boulder - saw status checker changed to decision rendered and received acceptance letter via snail mail! Hopefully scholly money to come. Also received scholarship letter from USD - $23,000/year.

02/09/2012 - Loyola Marymount - accepted via snail mail with $69,000 over 3 years scholly.

02/15/2012 - Boston University - first rejection of the cycle. Definitely expected. Hopefully BC will show me some love :D

02/23/2012 - (didn't have a chance to edit this early) - IN at Wake Forest with $10,000/year. Was hoping for more money, but still awesome! Also, waitlisted at Minnesota. Was definitely expecting a WL at Minn based on other people's LSN with similar numbers. Keep the decisions rolling!

03/02/2012 - Santa Clara - received acceptance packet with $15,000 scholarship. No stips, no info on if it is renewable.
University of Wisconsin - acceptance email :) No information on scholarship yet.
