12/14/09: Got my big envelope from USD. Not unexpected, but still nice.
12/9/09: In at Northeastern with a $60,000 scholarship and $3,000 co-op stipend! Nice way to start the cycle!
1/5/10: Got a call from Cardozo today with a nice scholarship. Happy New Year! I hope January brings more good news...
1/9/10: In at Hastings by mail! Woohoo!
1/25/10: Out at Georgetown. I expected it since I haven't heard from them at all since I applied.
1/27/10: Ouch. Just got rejected from Berkeley. That one stung. Numbers wise, I knew I was low, but I thought I had a chance based on my public interest desires and the fact that I went to undergrad there. Well there goes that dream...
2/5/10: Received a Faculty Honors Scholarship from USD.
2/26/20: Waitlisted at both USC and Michigan. I guess it's better than an outright rejection!
3/11/10: In at Davis! YES! I'm really excited. It's been a looong dry spell since my acceptance at Hastings.
3/22/10: WL at UCLA. Expected.
3/25/10: Wow I was awarded the Scholar in Law Award from WUSTL! 12K a year. I'm quite surprised!
4/28/10: That's all folks! Cycle complete. I'm going to Davis!! Yippee!!
6/11/10: Had to pull the trigger and withdraw from waitlists. I feel great about having been kept on the Michigan waitlist for this long, but moving at this point would be too hard.

good job on Davis! I'm there at undergrad right now (as my name may hint). I just got WL'ed by them, which was surprising and vexing, to say the least. But, this cycle has ebbs and flows. I think I'm about due. (:

Yeah, well one of these W#Ls will take a shot with me. Back in Dec., I was prepared to leave Davis, but circumstances prove that they may be one of my best shots in RE: waitlists. I've sat in on a bunch of lectures and speaker events, and I get a GREAT sense that the students are smart, and the profs are totally on the level. Maybe I'll see you in Sept. Will you be wearing the Cal Bear mascot suit? LoL
