Hello

Looks like you and I are in the same boat. We both applied to a fewq of the same schools. I'd like to go out west. I think if Wtoming or Montana takes me I'd have to seriously consider them. I don't know much about Memphis to be honest. My wife is from Iowa and we go through there a lot, it's a nice area. Keep me updated and I'll the same. Good luck!

Sorry about my spelling, I've knocked back a few Sam Adams tonight. I got a 150, my 152 score was from 1999. I'm not THAT upset either, i thought I completely bombed it, I'm just happy I wasn't in the 140s. Good luck with the deployment. I was in Baghdad last year. Maybe the veteran thing will help us out with law school.

Cool

I wish I could pop a few back. I have duty this evening, so I am not getting into any good tonight. I hear you on the whole 140 thing.

Hope you don't mind my advice on your comments board but I didn't have your email. First, since it's March, you need to already have ALL your paperwork ready. Recommendations: 3 really good ones that highlight your work ethic to overcome your numbers help a lot! Personal Statement: Should include a tie into at least one of the programs offered at the school, and highlight an experience that shows how you bring diversity of experience to the incoming class. My PS was kinda long, and many proofreaders suggested focusing on one or two things that make you stand out as a potentially successful law student. Resume: Show how hard you've worked, highlight the most important and/or the most time-consuming experiences, especially if your extracuriculurs pulled you away from your studies and explains your UGPA. My friend also wrote a personalized cover letter for her applications that seemed to go over well. Address it to the Dean of Admissions and the Admissions Committee. I'll read your PS and make comments if you like - send via email... and be blessed!

Sorry...

Got busy with end of the term stuff (long story), but I did get a chance to look at your stuff this week. I'll email you before Friday!
