Additional info & updates

Michigan - Fee waiver

On 3/4, I learned that my UG had not sent a dean's certification to Harvard, Columbia, or BU. The certification was sent on 3/11, and I heard from BU shortly after. Unfortunately, I did not receive a reply from Harvard or Columbia by 5/4, when I had to send my deposit to NYU, so I chose to withdraw both applications.

UVa - Phone call, then letter (standard envelope)
Georgetown - Letter (standard envelope)
Michigan - Letter (8.5 x 11" white envelope)
NYU - Letter (10 x 14" manilla envelope)
BU - Phone call, then letter (8.5 x 11" envelope)

Yale sent a letter in a see-through envelope. So now my postal carrier knows I didn't get in.

I attended a 3rd tier Evangelical Christian college in PA and just wanted to offer you moral support. Good luck with your applications.

Hi squeak, I used full-length tests and took them timed, then went back and figured out why I chose the wrong answers where I did. My practice scores were variable -- 170-180 -- so the rest was the luck of the draw. Hope that helps!
