Additional info & updates

7/14 - Cornell rejection letter. Unsurprising. Good to see that I wasn't lost in the process though, which is what I was assuming. Really excited to start at Emory in a month though! Hope this info is useful to someone this coming cycle.

4/23 - WL at Vandy. That pretty much seals the Emory deal, unless I get some waitlist action or Cornell does something unexpected.

4/22 - Waitlisted at USC. Decision mailed at Vandy, should get here soon. Probably a waitlist, but we'll see!

4/17 - Waitlisted at Notre Dame. Finally got admissions packet from Fordham - no money included. Makes that easy.

4/13 - Depositing at Emory. Unless I get accepted to Cornell, Texas or Vandy, I'll be in ATL in the fall!

4/ 5 - Placed on hold/reserve at Cornell. Waitlisted at UCLA. Requests for scholarship/increase at WashU and BU denied.

3/22 - Rejected at Michigan. Now to be more realistic. Also, withdrew from Cardozo.

3/21 - In Review at USC. Not big news, but its movement!

3/19 - WL at W&M via email. That's a little unexpected, but OK.

3/17 - In at Fordham via email! Finally, an acceptance in March :p

3/12 - Waitlisted at BC. Unfortunate..

3/9 - Surprising rejection at GWU. Oh well, didn't want to go there all that much.

3/4 - $24,000/year at W&L! Waitlisted at UT.. not terribly surprising, but disappointing.

3/1 - $60,000 at Emory via snail mail! Very excited.

2/25 - In at Emory via big envelope! That's 7 for 7 so far... exciting! Scholarship from WUSTL. Kinda small, compared to others so far.

2/24 - Finally complete at Michigan! Officially waiting for decisions everywhere. I know its an incredibly long shot, but I'd do just about anything for a Mich acceptance! Here's to hoping.

2/22 - Admit packets from BU and UMN today. UMN offered 20k/year contingent on a 2.5 GPA. Not bad!

2/18 - In at UIUC via email with 20k/year scholarship!

2/17 - In at BU via phone call!

2/17 - Tuition equalization scholarship for first year at UGA.

2/16 - In at Minnesota via email!

2/13 - In at W&L via small envelope!

2/11 - Decision rendered at W&L, waiting for it in the mail.

2/8 - In at WashU via email! Being 'considered for Scholars in Law award'

2/2 - First acceptance! UGA (via status checker). Was kinda expecting that one, but its exciting nonetheless.

1/29 - After several more days of working on my optional essays, I've finally submitted my Michigan app. It's a long shot, but it can't hurt to try, right? Well, except for lightening my wallet by $72...

1/27 - I'll keep a running log (blog?) of my status here. I submitted later than I wanted to because I decided to retake in Dec, which unfortunately didn't help. My (probably unrealistic) dream would be a Michigan acceptance. We'll see how it turns out though. I think I'll have some very good options by the end of the cycle and potentially some decent waitlists too. Hopefully I'll start seeing responses from at least some of these schools in the next few weeks.

re: emory scholarship

Glad to help. No stipulations on the emory scholarship. Minnesota, I think, had a minimum of 3.0 but other than that none of mine required anything. Just done with the first week at emory. It's a great place so far! Good luck with your cycle.
