what to do?

What do you folks think? Take an offer or hope to get taken off a waitlist?

That depends a lot on the terms of your offers and where you really want to go...

well, yeah...

Of course. I'm not gonna make my decision entirely on anonymous advice I receive here. I'm just looking for straight, objective opinions based on the information above...where would you go?

Hhhmmm...

I am on a few waitlists as well, and I am planning to go to one of the schools that has already accepted me. However, I am remaining on waitlists for a few others that I am truly interested in. If the day comes that I am accepted from a waitlist, and I am still in a position to accept, and still interested, then great! But if not, at least I have a spot at a school I love. Good luck!

As someone who also had a 3.16 and a 161 - I would take one of the offers you already have. A lot of those WL's probably won't be taking people with our numbers, or are full. If you don't hate every school you've gotten into, I think it's the better option. Still, no harm in staying on a WL, and then, if you haven't already gotten an apartment and whatnot, considering whatever offer you get.
