1/25 American acceptance by big folder in priority mail envelope

2/4 BC Priority Waitlist in a small envelope that looked like a rejection

2/5 GW Waitlist in a small envelope that looked like a rejection

2/10 Yale Rejection in a small envelope; very brief

2/11 Vanderbilt Waitlist via small envelope

2/13 Columbia rejection; Minnesota "hold" in a small envelope

2/22 Terrible Day; UVA rejection; not expecting the Cardozo waitlist.

2/26 Fordham waitlist letter to permanent address = annoying

2/28 ND "Provisional List" = kind of exciting

3/4 Wisconsin Acceptance vai e-mail; maybe I will go to law school after all

3/11 Wisconsin Acceptance via mail; small envelope

3/24 W&M waitlist in small envelope. Since that was the only school left that I applied to that I thought I had a shot at, I will most likely be depositing in Mason because it is near DC.

3/25 Cornell "reserve." I know it's just a waitlist but I am VERY excited. (small envelope sent to permanent address)

3/28 Duke rejection. Just wish that they had not waited so long.

3/31 Ohio State waitlist (e-mail & letter); Brooklyn waitlist (letter). Really offended at Brooklyn so I withdrew. Going to be a difficult choice between Mason & Wisconsin. Will see what happens when I go to ASW at Mason this weekend.

4/4 rejection at BU. Really wanted to go there & really thought I had a shot based on past numbers and people I know who got in this cycle. Really upset. They suggested I should transfer there after 1L. Yeah right.

4/6 WL at WashU to home address

4/11 Had withdrawn from Brooklyn wait list but got a phone call about admission and decided to consider their offer

4/21 Keeping hope alive: WL at UCLA; deposited at Mason for now & still holding on to Wisconsin; will probably withdraw from Brooklyn at the end of the week. My goal is to get off 1 of my 10 wait lists. Will retake the LSAT and restart the process again for next year if things look bleak in about a month.

4/17 Finally rejected at Chicago. Whatever.

4/28 Rejected at UIUC. Didn't care about that one anyway. Come on, wait lists!

5/5 Rejected at Emory. I think I would have had a chance if I had applied earlier.

5/13 Rejected at USC. Only took 6 months.

5/23 Rejected from the waitlist at GW after sending out a LOCI today. AWESOME.

5/24 W&M Acceptance via Priority Mail. Very exciting! Withdrawing from GMU, Wisconsin, & the Ohio State Wait List.

5/30 Moved from Deferred to the Wait List at UMN; staying on

6/23 Phone call from Vandy! VERY HAPPY! Will move the "A" next to it soon.

6/25 Admissions packet came from Vandy. Sent in the deposit. Withdrew from W&M and all my wait lists except Cornell. Finally pretty excited about law school.

7/14 Finally rejected from Cornell. Cycle finally over. It was a very trying process and I can't say that I ended up satisfied. I just wish that my LSAT score were higher.
