Dude, with those numbers, apply to WVU. The school is a lot better than most of the schools you applied to and you should probably get in. The job prospects at WVU are far better than a lot of those schools in your list.
I got the same notice from U Miami. I'm not sure if it means wait-list though. They're quick if it is. Do you know if they have "early action" admission? I ask, because I wonder if that's what just happened: we didn't make the EA cut, but will be considered in the general applicant pool (?). What do you think?
Dude your best best is University Of Oklahoma. They have a great network that enable people to get biglaw jobs in Oklahoma and in Texas. I'd def put that as my number 1 choice if I were you
Well Phoenix gave me a Fee waiver so I of course I am not attending. To be honest, I don't think I will even Attend law school at all unless I get into Cardozo ( which is unlikely), because I already been admitted for the masters degree program at Penn State. And, I don't wanna past that up no good reason

I don't think you'll get a rejection from Stetson. My reasoning for saying this is that I awoke to an email from Stetson rejecting me. I'm thinking if you were rejected, they would've already sent you an email. When I checked Stetson's status yesterday, it showed "ready for review," therefore, I had no idea it was even being reviewed. So, I guess I feel that if they changed your status to "decision sent," and you haven't gotten an email, there is a good possibility that you got accepted based on my situation with them. *Fingers crossed for you!*
Notice I said "optimistic" instead of "right." Now only if everyone would be just as optimistic! *Clears throat* even you...lol. You counted yourself out before the decision even came. Remember, it ain't over til it's over (aka in black and white)! :)

Congrats on Stetson. It's a beautiful school and it's the only school in the Tampa Bay market, has great local job prospects and respect.
...about Tulsa. I guess it goes to prove what I've always believed: admissions committee's don't just look at the hard numbers. If they did, you would've been in there of course! Nonetheless, don't let it bum you out...it made room for better choices. That's all.
Don't worry about Tulsa... I'm sure you'll get into better schools. And, don't beat yourself up... I got rejected as well with a 3.78 and 169.

Thank you for your service to this country and congrats on Minnesota. I recieved a phone call from them also. Good to know that there will be another military man attending.
Once the admissions packet comes in the mail I'll probably withdraw from most other schools depending on what kind of aid I recieve.
Congrats on MN! I should have applied there! My softs aren't as good as yours, but my numbers are a little higher. That's agreat school. You were right to ED there.
Are you from MN? I ask only because I was wondering what the draw to MN was versus an acceptance to a place such as Drake. Is your particular interest offered at MN and nowhere else? I'm from the Midwest North so I'm trying to figure out why someone's #1 would be even colder than where I am. :)
Wow, in at #20 MN and waitlisted at #74 UM. Congrats. I don't understand the process.
I am hoping that my GI Bill will help cover some of the costs, I know that there is a provision in there somewhere for out-of-state tuition. If not I know that I will get a housing allowance of some sort but yeah UMN is freaking expensive. It is a Top 20 though so understandable.

When did you get your scholarship info for Quinnipiac? Did it come in the mail with your letter or did you have to wait for a separate thing?
I recieved it last week. That's how I found out about the scholarship offer.

No, at this point I still haven't made a decision. I was held at Northwestern, I so I still sort of hoping that works out. If it doesn't, MN is actually my third choice. However, I want IU to give me instate tuition (something I am trying to figure out now) or W&L to give me the Yellow Ribbon Program. I'll just have to see. If none of those work, then I'll see you in MN.
