Additional info & updates

Yea i know my LSAT score is weak...I just hate standardized tests!! Anyways I really didn't prepare well for the LSAT, kind of half-assed it, and took the test. I wasn't too suprised, when my score came back, jus cuz in the back of my mind i know i didnt put the work down.

Anyways, kind of dread on taking it again if I dont have to, so I decided at the last minute to apply and try my luck on some schools.
Worst comes to worst, take it again and wait another whole year....

Any advice or insight on my chances, etc are welcome.

3/23/06- Hastings was kind of a far cry, even for part-time. Can't say that I'm suprised; but its still dissapointing nonethelesss.

04/03/06- Syracuse; Rejected, small white envelope. Can't say I had a good chance from the start, but I gave it a try..

04-06-06- Franklin Pierce; rejected. small white envelope. Guess imma have to depend on my tier four and below choices. My stats are allergic to tier 3 schools....

04-20-06- Wow turn around time for NY law school was fast, or I guess it wasn't hard decision for them to decide on rejecting me; still have some glimmer of hope for the others..

04-25-06- Small white envelope, rejected from Thomas Jefferson...at least application fee was free...:p

04-26-06- Gonzaga is a no go, another one down.......

good luck on the rest of ur apps. My LSAT score screwed me too... the only difference between us is that I studied A LOT for it and I still got a horrible score... so at least you didnt waste your time like me. Good luck again on the rest of your apps!

LSAT is definitely a tough test. I was scoring in the 155 range and only managed a 149 on the real test. It was a major dissapointment for me. I know how you feel about not wanting to take the test again, but you really have to do it. Too much on the line not to give it a 2nd shot! Are you planning on going to Cooley? I hear good and bad things about the school. I think they have a solid program for people that are willing to apply themselves and work really hard. Good luck!

LSAT Timing
Wednesday, August 16 2006 at 08:00 PM

I had some issues with timing as well. You really have to get some practice at knowing when a question is worth spending time on and when a question is not worth spending time on. You can do it, your score will increase!

I know, I had a tough time with the LSAT too. Just keep your head up. You have Cooley if TJ does not work out. You can always transfer if you want. Good luck
