Just wanted to say congrats on your acceptances. I've been accepted to Case Western as well, and I noticed you're from Ohio. What do you know about the city of Cleveland? I've heard a mixed things about the city, but mostly negative things. Do you have any thoughts on the city? Thanks!
Hi KappaOne I am actually from Cleveland Born and raised. I do not know where you are from but Cleveland is a major a city but for young people not much fun. It is definately more of a family oriented place a great place to raise your kids but not to be a student and mtg new people. "Downtown Cleveland" is almost laughable. But Case has a great campus right in the midtown area of the city. Around all the museums if you are into art and history and music. However, if you are looking for a Chicago or NYC feel you need to look elsewhere

Thanks for the follow up Coolchick. I'm from St. Louis, and it sounds like Case is much like it is here. I plan to visit Case for the Admitted Students Day on March 18 and to check out the city and school. Are you leaning toward a particular school right now?
Hey KappaOne I do not know which school I am leaning towards right now as I am trying to see how my school choices pan out but I am going to admitted students day at Case for sure. How is St. Louis? I am trying to see if I would like to go there if I get into Wash U
Hey coolchick. I like your name. you shouldn't go to case... OSU has much more to offer, especially considering the med and vet schools near by ;) Try to hold out for vanderbilt though. It'll be fun.
Overall, St. Louis is a cool city. It's big enough to offer all that a big city can, while small enough so that you don't feel swallowed up. There are tons of affordable apartments both in the city and on the outskirts in the suburbs of St. Louis County and just across the bridge in Illinois.
