FAFSA electronically sent and signed on 1-6-05. Schools listed on report were: MSU, Miss Coll, Valpo, Syracuse, St Louis Univ, and Texas Wesleyan.

Florida Costal School of Law - came in regluar white envelope with Office of Admissions below the school logo. Letter of Acceptance, plus 5K Governors scholarship renewable if you are in top 30% of the class.

Called Michigan State on 1-19-04 and the admissions rep told me that the second "group" of applicants that were sent to the admissions committee were going to be complete next week. Then, decision letters will be mailed the week after. So, for all you MSU hopefulls, it looks like the 2nd group is only 2-weeks away from getting decisions.

1/20/05 Mississippi College acceptance came in the mail. Sent on 1/18/05. Regular business envelope, with a 2 page acceptance letter from Dean Rosenblatt. No scholarship money stated, but it states that an information letter will be sent shortly for all accepted students.

MSU rejection letter was mailed on 1/18, it arrived on 1/21. It was a thin (how typical) business size envelope with a one page letter saying, "Fuck you, jackass."

Texas Wesleyan letter was typed on 1/27, postmarked on 1/28, and arrived on 1/31. Regular business envelope with a short one page letter.

Barry University acceptance letter was typed and mailed on 2/4. Arrived on 2/9. Along with the acceptance is a 5K scholarship renewable with a 2.5 GPA. Both letters came in the same regular sized business envelope.

Penn State typed the waitlist letter on 2/10/05, but it arrived at my mailbox on 2/14/05. It is a regular business envelope.

Valpo letter was typed on 2-11, but arrived on 2-14. The letter stated that I was in a category called "admissions pending" that is above the traditional waitlist category. The one page letter came in a regular sized business envelope.

Did you ever receive scholarship info from Mississippi? If so, was it sizeable?
