Additional info & updates

1/14/13- Got my 1st acceptance today! University of Akron. Admissions person left nice voicemail letting me know I was accepted with a $10,000 scholarship.

1/18/13- Got word from University of Maryland that I was accepted [: This is my #1 east coast choice. I am originally from Maryland and would like to go back.

1/28/13- Accepted to Southwestern via email. My first acceptance from a California school, my family and friends are ecstatic. They didn't want me to leave the state.

1/29/13- Accepted to Michigan State via email. Excited to say the least. No word on scholarships though.

2/7/13- Accepted at Howard via email. Wait-listed at UC Irvine. Bummed about being wait-listed but at least its not a rejection!

2/10/13- Accepted at LaVerne via mailed letter. This was my safety school so of course I expected the acceptance.

3/1/13- Denied at UC Hastings via email. Disappointed to say the least. I thought for sure I could get in here through the LEOP program.

4/10/13- Welp, my cycle is over. I did waaaay better than I thought I would. I have to put down my seat deposit by 4/15/13. Goodluck to everyone else waiting for decisions this cycle.

I am loving that you created a "Natural Hair" Club on your campus! Completely awesome! My honest advice to you is retake the LSATs. Even a score in the mid- to high-150s puts you in a position to gain acceptance into some T14 law schools. 160+ and Harvard/Columbia become viable options. Please don't waste that stellar GPA!

Thanks

Thank you JwEbonyJD. I have contemplated doing that but I have much more work to be done & don't want to be behind another year by re-applying. I wish I could go T14, but it is what it is!
