Additional info & updates

I have several schools that I wish to apply. But I have LSAT fatique! Any ideas? or suggestions?
Just took the FEB 09 LSAT Uuuh!
With less than a week, I am really nervous about looking at my Feb 09 score.
Once I receive my score, it will all depend on whether I will apply this cycle or wait until fall 10 cycle.
Have to wait and see :)
Alright, well here's the deal. My LSAT score is officially in and I scored the same low score as I did the last time around. The same exact score. Well I will send out 2 or 3 applications and see what happens. Although it's late in the cycle why not...I can give it another shot in the next cycle. I'm so depressed.

03/03/09
Sent off 7 applications....pray for me! I hope atleast one school comes through...
I have solid soft factors and great work experience since undergrad!

03-18-09
Well at a stand still, have to wait for decisions to role around. I have to stay postive!
I am a little worried with a NCCU & Touro, because I have yet to hear or receive an acknowledgement of receipt of application...

03-24-09
That 1st rejection letter came rolling through snail mail. Still have my hopes high on the others.
TSU:"We regret to inform you that you were not one of the persons selected for admission."

03/27/09
Recieved confirmation that my file is now complete with NCCU.

03-28-09 Checked status checker for Miss. College, awaiting snail mail decision. PM: so just checked my mailbox, and received my rejection letter from Mississippi College. 2 down, I am praying that I get 2 acceptances.

04/08/09
Rejected by Touro via snail mail, bummer.
I will continue to remain patient and pray that either FAMU or NCCU invites me to join class of 2012. I will accept and be happy with acceptance from any of the other schools.
The bright side is that I have 6 more schools to wait on. :)

04/09/09
Well received my rejection letter from FAMU this evening via snail mail. Seems as if they are rolling in. Can't get down on myself.....keep pushing on you all with low lsat scores. I will continue to pray about an acceptance from t he remaining 5 schools. Maybe FAMU wasn't meant to be at this point in my life.

05-17-09
Rejected from App. School of Law, received letter via snail mail. Down to 4 schools lefft to hear from.

I look at it like this:Retake the LSAT, with hopes of improving my score & start networking, and reapply for fall 10'. Best Wishes to all my profile checkers.

11/10/09
Well I have decided to give it this cycle a shot. With just a handful of school. If i'm not accepted I will retake the LSAT June 2010.

I had major difficulty with the LSAT and ended up taking a prep course that helped a lot. Try Testmasters.com. You will see significant improvement if you take one of their classes... they go over every section and rip the test apart to where by the time you take the test you feel more prepared...the testimonials alone of previous students are enough to convince anyone to take their class. But yeah, it was really helpful to me. Had I taken a class that was longer than a month then I would have seen more of an improvement. But either way, I was able to raise my score... in class I raised it to a 150 but on test day I got a 145. Still an improvement though, raised my score 3 points from a 142 on my last LSAT, and its worth checking out.

I just looked online, the website is actually Testmasters.net. There is actually a testmasters class taking place in Atlanta that spans over 2 months... you are so lucky that you have a class like that in Kansas! I had to go to Texas to take my class. Anyway, it is worth looking into. The class costs about a thousand bucks but it is definitely worth it and you will see great improvement with your score. I can tell you are really smart because of your great GPA. Best of luck to you!

LOL what I meant to say is that you are so lucky that you have a class like that so close because I am in Kansas and had to go to Texas to take a month long class. Sorry, long day. :)

It appears that we have similar numbers and are applying to some of the same schools. This is my second time around applying, I did not get in last year. I took an expensive Kaplan course and on the final practice test got a 149 then on test day ended up with a 141. I was so depressed, but we can not let our scores get us down. We know we want and deserve this. Best of luck in your cycle.

I feel you about the LSAT

Hey, came across your page and you share the same sentiment I have about my LSAT score. So far, I've gotten a lot of rejections but the ONE acceptance I did get, I was able to influence by opting for an interview with the school. That really worked, perhaps asking some of the schools you applied to to grant an interview so you can explain away your LSAT. That's what I did. I still gotta wait to hear from a few schools but imma keep the faith!

Good Luck

Hey just keep the faith like I did. It does not matter what your score or gpa is. I truly hope that you get into a school and that it is a school that you like. It is a long process but it due time you will find out. I wish you all the best for the rest of your process and if you get into NCCU let me know because that's where I will be going.

hey there

Hey Girl, I wish I would have found this site when I started my cycle it would have been a great place for support. I seem to have the lowest LSAT score on this website so imagine what these last few months have been like for me. I applied to 24 schools and haven't got a yes, I only have 2 schools left but I just wanted to encourage you and tell you to keep praying. It seems as though you are in pretty good spirits. Best Wishes!
