why so many schools? especially the lower-ranked ones...SLU, for instance.

I live in Houston now. So, if I decide I don't want to move I'll go there. Also, I really like the city of St. Louis. Hence, why I applied to a couple schools there. Finally, money may be an issue. So, the more schools I apply to, the more financial options I have to way. Plus, fee wavers are very convincing.

No money offer yet, just info and invitation to apply for one of their big scholarships. Sending that application in next week.

lsat studying

I studied for the LSAT for about 4 hours a day for about a month. I took one practice test a day, and then focused on whatever sections seemed like it needed the most work. For me, at first it was games, then reading comp. For games, I used the powerscore logic games bible. That helped me the most.

Congrats!

Oh, I see what you mean about taking the LSAT. First practice test I scored a 169. My practice involved taking about 20 full length practice tests, and using the logic games bible. I studied about 3 hours a day for a month.
