Did you write the "Why Penn?" essay? I hear that Penn is abusive to people who don't. What are your prefs?
I skipped the GULC app because I didn't want to have to make the money vs. no money choice for two closely ranked similar schools, and also because GWU has a popular IP program. It'd sure be nice if I didn't know what my parent would say :) Dad: "Apply to NYU. You have my full support." Me: "Full Support? That's $155K." Dad: "My full MORAL support." Did GWU invite you to one of the scholarship "programs" along with the money offer? Are you coming to GWU preview weekend April 1? FYI, if UVA invites you, it's a great program to attend, but it's NOT close to DC. I have a friend who didn't realize that when she matriculated.
