Note: I joined this site for the 2012-2013 cycle. I didn't get into any school that year. So, I took the LSAT again and made a 145. So my following notes below are for the 2013-2014 cycle. I do not know how to change the cycle year at the top of my profile.
Accepted to MS College, but tuition is too high. I plan on asking for some type of scholarship if I do decide to attend there.
I am basically waiting on Ole Miss to get back to me. If I get rejected there, I will go to MS College.
Changed my mind about applying to all those other schools, Because I really know I will not attend those schools. However, I am thinking about applying to Jones School of law in Alabama though.
I asked MS College for a scholarship and they said NO. Told me I can get one after my first year of school depending on how I perform.
Got invited to Pre-Law day at Memphis. I guess I'll go for the experience.
Denied at UOAK - I didn't really want to go there anyway
Denied at Memphis - I did have thoughts about maybe attending Memphis but I understand with my low score.
I took a visit to Miss College Law Day. It was nice and I enjoyed it. Its just very expensive(33K per year), so I am praying for Ole Miss To let me in.
I am just waiting on Ole Miss Now.
Waitlisted At Ole Miss but I still got great news! All I have to do is attend the CLEO program this summer at Ole Miss and I will be accepted into the school for this fall. So I am basically in after I complete the CLEO summer program. Looks like I'm headed to Ole Miss. Thank you Lord! Cheapest Tuition around. Its only about 16K per year. I just hate that I have to ask my parents for money to attend CLEO. It costs 2K. I will update the waitlist status after I am officially admitted in the school.
I start the CLEO summer program this on June 8th and I am excited. I am basically in from talking with people at admissions. I have also been speaking with an student who took the same path I am taking. Everything things seems to be going well. I just thank good that I got into the school I wanted to attend. Thank you LORD! It was a long two years in the admissions process. Those who can go to the school of choice after one LSAT attempt are truly blessed. I feel like I just got drafted, now its time to work hard and earn a spot(MY JD). I hope my page is helpfully to anyone out there who thinks they can't get into a ok law school with a bad LSAT.
Sorry about Memphis! Stay positive! How did you hear about the decision? Status Checker? Email? USPS?
