10/02/07 - OK, well I have decided that I am going to go to law school. I have a pretty awful GPA due to many foreign language classes that killed me, but my major GPA is pretty decent. I just copied my resume to the left, which I feel is pretty strong and I listed the law schools I am interested in above. I am taking the LSAT's December 1st and I am practicing hard for them. Here's hoping I get lucky and get some schools I'm hoping for!

11/16/07 - Tomorrow and Sunday, I am attending the PowerScore Weekend Course in Hartford. I have heard nothing but great things about it, so I'm hoping it bumps my LSAT score for Dec. 1st up a point or two, could seriously use the help.

11/20/07 - So I took the PowerScore Weekend course and I am immedietely seeing a few points on my practice tests. 11 Days and counting.

11/28/07 - OK Guys, I could use the help, be harsh. I am practicing from 162-166 now, taking the LSAT on saturday. Assume I get a 162 (put 162 in the profile for now so people can view this and help me out), predict my cycle from the schools selected above, thanks!

01/28/08 - Well it's been a while since I've updated. I am retaking the LSAT on Saturday after a pretty poor showing in December. My transcripts have all been processed, my letters of recommendations are all processed, my personal statement, addendums & resume are all written and finalized and I plan on sending all of my applications out this week (Finally!!!). Good luck to everyone retaking the LSAT with me on Saturday!

1/31/08 - Sent applications to Rutgers, Newark; Rutgers, Camden; Hofstra, Seton Hall & St. John's. I am working on the rest and will probably finish them after I retake the LSAT on Saturday.

2/1/08 - Got an email from Rutgers - Newark saying they received my application and should expect it to go complete once they receive the LSDSA Report.

2/4/08 - Took the LSAT on Saturday and thought I did better then last time, but I thought I did well last time as well, so it's anybdy's guess. Received an email from Hofstra today saying they received my application and will let me know when it is complete.

2/5/08 - Sent applications to Penn State, Quinnipiac & Pace. The "Why Penn State" essay took me longer then it should have. LSAC is showing my reports have been sent to the other 5 schools I applied to so hopefully I get go complete at some places.

2/15/08 - So I got an email from Hofstra that I'm complete, however they will wait until the Feb LSAT comes in. I'm still waiting to hear from some schools that they received my application and from all but Hofstra that I'm complete. I hope I go complete before next week when the scores come in.

2/22/08 - And I'm relieved...got a 162 on my Feb. LSAT. Should put me over the top at many of my schools.

3/20/08 - Updated with latest acceptences. All money is over 3 years and I am still waiting for scholarship info for the other schools.

4/15/08 - See you in Newark!

you may want to make yourself a little less visible just in case admissions departments do scans of lsn. Just a recommendation. GOOD LUCK and I'm sure your soft factors will help!

I don't know where I would be without that POwerscore W/E Course that I took last year. Make sure you go through the whole course book before the LSAT. It is extremely helpful.

LR was pretty good. I always ran out of time, especially on the LG, which I thought were pretty difficult. The last RC was the one that counts I think, since it was harder than the 2nd one. My GPA is also similar to yours, hope the scores come out good.
