12/16/11: Today has been incredibly surreal! Received an awesome scholarship from Michigan, accepted to Cornell with an invite to apply for the Dean's Scholarship, then received a Rothman invite from USC. To cap it all off, just got an acceptance call from Penn. Being from Philadelphia, Penn has probably been my top school going into the cycle. I am beyond excited at the prospect of attending such a fantastic institution.

01/05/12: Spoke to Jason Dugas of UVA on the phone today. UVA Law seems like a great school, it was my dream school for undergrad and I absolutely loved Charlottesville. With the generous scholarship it has definitely moved way up my list.

01/27/12: Wilson invite from Penn. Also received acceptance and near full ride to Northwestern contingent on a one year deferral to gain work experience. As a k-jd who didn't even interview, I am seriously shocked! It seems like a really amazing opportunity. And so the plot thickens...

04/02/12: Financial aid offer from Penn. Named an alternate for the Wilson Scholarship and received a Dean's Award. While I'm grateful for the award, I would be lying to say I wasn't extremely disappointed. Penn was my top pick going into this process and yet now it seems like it is not a feasible financial option. Definitely bummed, hopefully they'll be willing to negotiate.

Thanks so much! Congrats to you on Chicago, NYU, and all that money from Northwestern! I did apply for the Levy, so we'll see what happens. Did you apply for the Wilson? We may just be digging ourselves a deeper hole come decision time :) Have you heard anything since being held at H?
