Additional info & updates

$$$$ Scholarship numbers over 3 years

Decisions
4/27- After a very long wait, it seems I'm in at UC Davis. This school used to be my dream school, but it made me wait too long and the deep pocketed Mr. BigSpender (Chapman) has since come along to spend a little time on me.
3/9- Accepted at Loyola finally but with $0 in scholarships. No thank you-- even with your huge alumni base.
2/4- Trustee's scholarship at California Western. $105000 over 3 years (adjustable to account for any raises in tuition cost)
1/22- Acceptance to Hastings came in a small (though thick), white envelope.
1/21- Rejected at UCLA, letter dated 1/16
1/14- Full tuition at Chapman!
1/13- I am starting to firm up an order of preferences, but with my 4 reach type schools pending, there's a lot left to be discovered
1/12- In at Chapman via online status checker. I am curious about possible scholarships and will just have to wait for the letter in the mail to find out more!
1/10- In at Cal Western. It was a tiny envelope (apparently due to scholarship consideration coming later in the process)
12/22- This is not a real update, but after poking around on the LSN applicants page for UCLA I have to say, "Where's my rejection letter?" At least I'm prepared. Bad news is that some of the other rejects are probably going to make competition for spots at my other choices tougher. Yipes!
12/20- In at McGeorge with 1L books for free and $15,000 renewable yearly scholly

Waivers
11/12- Finally received a waiver to use! UOP, McGeorge
11/11- I have received and discarded a bunch of other fee waivers that I can't even remember. Having completed the majority of my applications, though, I can say for sure that none of them were for schools to which I'm applying.
10/30- So far, the following merit-based fee waivers have come in:
Tulsa 10/29
St. Thomas, again 10/29
Western State 10/29
Michigan State Law 10/29
William & Mary 10/28
Temple 10/27
University of St.Thomas (pre LSAT scores)

I got a lot of the same fee waviers you did & I totally feel you on wanting to get some for schools that you're interested in. We're applying to many of the same schools and have similar numbers...good luck this cycle!

Congrats on all your acceptances! I'm currently WLd at Davis and am asking that, if you don't plan on attending, to please withdraw. Hopefully, this will make a space for me this Fall. Thanks and good luck!!
