For me, Vandy was the better fit. I don't know St Louis at all, but it kind of scared me whereas I felt safe(r) in Nashville. I have a friend at WashU law, and he says that about 4 blocks out from the law school isnt a safe area... and I'm not so into driving to school everyday. My boyfriend got into both medical schools too, and while washu is "technically" better, we visited vandy together and he loved it there too. In the end it came down to feel, not cost - and vandy won.
