You're like one of the ONLY people who has received any aid from Southwestern
I'm interested in the aid thing too.. When did they notify you?
The scholarship is called the Paul Wildman Scholarship for Entering Students. There was a form that was supposed to be submitted indicating interest in the scholarship. However, I don't think it's necessary. They notified me by US Mail on a small envelope. I was notified on March 10th.
did you get your package from Loyola yet?
... on Loyola... any tips? I'm desperately trying to get off the WL.
I am the WL master! Unless USC says yes, I'll be attending Loyola.

If its for the day time program at Loyola, I would do the same thing and take it over a full ride at Southwestern, but if you\\\'re on a part-time program at Loyola, maybe it would be worthwhile to take the scholarship at Southwester, particularly with how rare it is to get any kind of aid from them
I'll be FT at Loyola. In the Los Angeles market, Loyola has a much stronger presence than SW. Turning down $ at SW because of this is well worth it, I think.
It looks like it's official folks! USC sent me a ding, which was expected, but much delayed. They almost had me fooled. I just wonder how hard I have to work at Loyola to get a BIGLAW job. Top 5/10%? In any case, I'm thrilled!
After taking a good look at these decisions, it really hit me that I barely got into law school. If it wasn't for the Loyola WL acceptance, the only school I would have gotten into would be SW. Phew!
