Volunteered with the American Red Cross during Hurricanes Katrina / Rita; served as Transportation Supervisor at a Red Cross shelter in West Point, MS for three weeks.

Worked with local Red Cross in Alabama as DAT member in 2006 until moving to Oregon.

Currently working 30 hours a week at a small natural foods grocery store in Oregon.

Additional info & updates

Currently attending Oregon State University for a postbaccalaureate in Political Science; should finish Summer 2009, just in time for fall semester.

My first degree was from a small university in Alabama. That said, I expect to graduate with my second Bachelors with a GPA in the 3.75-4.00 range. Hopefully the underrepresentation of my first ug institution will be considered more favorably in light of this fact.

Focusing on international human rights; all of the schools I'm looking at appear to have great programs in this field.
