Everything had been expunged/sealed, but I disclosed everything to every school.
12/15/09: Rejection from American came very swiftly :( as did the waitlist for McGeorge. I am seriously baffled by this. Perhaps it is my criminal history? Check out Mcgeoge's graph, I'm the only yellow in a sea of greens. Those were the first two letters I received and they had me in a panic.
1/06/10: Accepted to DU with Money! Whew...I'm going to law school.
1/08/10: Rejected from Northeastern...odd. Clearly I was just not meant for the east coast.
1/26/10: I was waitlisted to Boulder today, better than a rejection for sure. I saw that small white envelope and I was pretty despondent there for a moment. Anyone know how many people they take off the waitlist each year? I would definitely Go here if ultimately accepted.
02/08/10: rejected from lewis and clark. Devastating.

It sucks that your minor criminal history may have had an impact on your applications. That is lame! I was rejected at Northeastern too and I think my wayward youth (disclosed in my addendum) may have had an impact as well.
I guess that means the schools that accept us know that not every lawyer has to be a boring saint! :)

thanks for the comment...good luck with the rest of your cycle as well. Boulder is top choice buti got hit with the WL too. Maybe Maryland for me? Although still waiting on $$$. Good Luck!

I'm sorry about Lewis and Clark. It's okay though, there are plenty of other schools you'll be perfectly happy at. It rains a lot in Portland anyway. ;) With all the $ that Denver offered, I know you'll be happy with the outcome, no matter what happens in the rest of the cycle. :)
