Extra Curricular Information

At the beginning of the cycle, even with the vast amount of information available on this site and others, I had no idea to which schools I had a reasonable probability of being admitted. Consequently, I created this profile for everyone's benefit, but particularly for minority and non-traditional applicants, for whom there is not the same quantity of data available.

Seven years of relevant work experience. This resulted in what I think is a very good PS and excellent LORs.

Choice rankings represent my preferences at the beginning of the cycle. I eventually decided to apply to a few more schools.

Additional info & updates

12/16: In at American via priority mail. First Yes.

12/22: Decision at GULC! Nailbiting begins, but I'm going to be at my parents' until 1/30.

12/23: Since I'm at my parents' and can't obsessively check my mailbox, tried to log in to GULC admitted students site. No dice.

12/30: In at Georgetown via note from Andy Cornblatt and holiday card. Stoked.

1/2: Big envelope from Temple unexpectedly offering full-tuition scholarship.

1/15: In at Pepperdine via status checker.

1/20: In at Emory via oversized bright yellow envelope.

2/4: Waitlisted at Notre Dame.

2/23: Waitlisted at GW.

4/15: Withdrew from Notre Dame, Vanderbilt, WUSTL and Tulane.

4/16: Deposited at Georgetown.

4/24: Dinged at Harvard.

Congrats on all of your acceptances. Were you surprised to receive no $$$ offers other than Temple? We have the same numbers, and I'm getting worried at this point. Thinking I may have overreached on school rankings and screwed myself out of a FinAid offer elsewhere. Have you made a decision? Good luck, wherever you go!

Congrats!
