No I applied to several other schools and I got accepted to all of them. These schools are Wake Forest, Georgia State, Univ of South Carolina and the Univ of Miami. I guess I need to update my profile. Anyway thanks for congratulating me. Hopefully in the fall I will like Emory as much as I did on admitted students day.

154?

How did you get into Emory with a 154? Are you black?

Wow...thats fucked up

Its fucked that people AUTOMATICALLY ASSUME that the only way you could have gotten into Emory was thru Affirmative Action. Nevermind the fact that you might have work experience, or you worked over seas, or maybe...JUST MAYBE, the Admission Council saw something worthwhile and decided that you were worth the investment.

HATERS! I hate ignorant people. Beyond work experience and scores, other things make someone worthwhile to an admissions council. Get over yourselves. Congrats! Best of luck to you next year.

I am sorry gabound that you have had such a strange discussion on your site. I also had a 154 LSAT. I was accepted to several schools, only one of which told me they admit based on preference of affirmative action. A personal Statement and Resume is in many cases just as important as an LSAT score. Frankly, I am appalled at the nerve that these people have had on your site. You may face ignorami all of your life that are willing to cry "reverse discrimination" because they don't succeed. Try to be kind to them because they don't know any better. Sure its tough to be a white middle class suburbian male. However, they are given far more resources than many of us who have not had the same educational opportunities. chin up. Go get em at Emory. They would not have admitted you if they believed that you were going to fail. :)
