Getting my master's right now.

Sitting for CPA exam before law school although I didn't put this anywhere on my applications.. oops..

Didn't write any optional essays for any schools (big mistake in hindsight). I included a diversity statement at some schools but not all.

Additional Information

-Placed on hold at Northwestern. Will write a LOCI and hope for the best.

-Waitlisted at Georgetown. Disappointed but will write a LOCI and see what happens.

-Withdrew application from Pepperdine because I didn't answer the Christian mission statement question...

-I was denied UF... REALLY?

-After being placed on hold on Northwestern, I have now moved to the waiting list....

-Just got a letter from San Diego upgrading my scholarship to 90k after informing them I will be attending Emory... pretty funny.

-Waitlist game is killing me... I want NU so bad.

UF is probably yield attrition...they figured that you wouldn't come, so they rejected you to keep their numbers up. Don't take it personally, it just shows you as a strong applicant. – girlphilosopher

you're an under represented minority who scored a 162 and has a 3.64 but didn't get into UF or UofI? I somehow find that hard to believe...considering most URM's with similar scores get unto any top ten school in the country they so choose.....I hope you aren't embellishing your numbers because that can seriously discourage others from even applying. – Jefferson26
