Not sure why it took me so long to update this thing, maybe because I've been studying abroad. But last week I got a call from Fordham (yes, this late in the game) asking me if I wanted to go there but I had just committed to Drexel. I decided that although I got into my top choice (Temple) and a lot of other schools with great reputations, the pros at Drexel outweighed the rest. The area of Philadelphia that Drexel is in is much more conducive to my lifestyle, I like the small size of it which allows for better student benefits and faculty attention, and most importantly, they gave me the most money. I feel good about my choice and am excited to work with Drexel's top-notch professors and look forward to participating in their co-op program. To people who are still deciding: going to a law school with an amazing reputation is essential if you want to have a high-powered career and make tons of money, but if you don't intend on working 60-80 per week, not going into $100,000 of debt is probably a better option!

Just got my LSAT score - 163!!! The highest I scored on my practice tests was a 156 so I feel much more comfortable going into the application process. I sent in my transcripts, got one letter of recommendation out of the way, and am filling out the applications now.

I transferred from a reputable community college with a high GPA then slacked off a bit, then did a bit better, then study abroad happened, but my grades have come out all right. Just took the LSAT and am waiting to get my score back. Expecting above average but not stellar so hopefully I can wow with my personal statement! Currently compiling letters of recommendation and transcripts.

Nice job on your LSAT improvement compared to your practice exams! I was the total opposite LOL.
