Is it true that 100 single men go down, and 50 couples come up?

That is only true on fast attack submarines. On Tridents, we never spent enough time out to sea to develop those meaningful relationships, and we never had romantic port calls to seal the deal.

Way to go on your acceptances. Were you ED (binding) at Texas or is that their way of saying Early Acceptance pool?

Congrats on UVA. Pretty remarkable to get a full ride this early in the game. Looks pretty well-deserved though. Good luck with the rest of the cycle!

3.91 in Mechanical Engineering and 171 LSAT....you must be some kind of evil genius! Congrats on your success and the outstanding opportunities you have in front of you!

Congrats!! What was your key to success with taking the LSAT a third time? I'm considering it myself but am panicked about it!

Congratulations on your great cycle so far! We're kind of in the same boat (three retakes--I scored a 170 third time around). UVA is one of my top choices. Do you have any idea what factors led to your receipt of the Dean's Scholarship? You have lots of great choices, so good luck with the rest of the cycle.

Awesome cycle so far - you definitely have your pick of top schools. Where are you leaning towards? Stanford?

Can I ask what you believe counterbalanced the multiple LSAT scores? I too took it several times. Twice with the flu but scored the second lsat and ended with a horrible lsat score. I just took it again and am expecting to have done much better altho i think my performance was not near my potential

For which Georgetown scholarship were you invited to interview (if you don't mind me asking)?

Did the scholarship email mention anything about your withdrawal or do you think it was on the way before you withdrew?

That was awfully nice of them. Thanks for the response. I guess that means their scholarships should be mailed in the next week or two. Good luck with the rest of your cycle. I hope Virginia shows me half the love they showed you. I'm in state as well.

And thanks for withdrawing from UVA and hopefully freeing up some money for this resident! Where are you leaning? I'm guessing Penn or Stanford.
