Extra Curricular Information

Volunteered at hospital and with Junior Achievers. Worked part-time for all but one year of college. I have an 18-month old and never stopped going to school, so that has essentially been my extracurricular activity for, well, 18 months.

Additional info & updates

With my young daughter, I'm only interested in part-time programs unless I miraculously discover I no longer require sleep and can handle full-time (I highly doubt this). I'm concerned about my low LSAT score, but am hopeful and slightly confident that the diversity and attributes I would bring to a school will shine through in my applications.

Anddd, a quote that, I believe, is fitting:

"Determination is born out of purpose%u2026knowing that you are gifted for something and this something must be attained. It is never enough to rely on luck or natural talent. You must, above all, believe in yourself, face your goals, and then fight as if your life depended on it" author unknown

working like mad on my personal statement. I've never written anything so difficult in my life, and wish I'd started in June as I originally intended. Unfortunately, this summer was filled with one significant family issue after the other. Best wishes to all you other applicants!

Hey, gypsyame, good luck this cycle! Not sure if you are aware of this but Cornell does not offer a PT program. However, top law schools like Georgetown, George Washington and Fordham offer the PT JD program. I hope you consider applying to at least one or all three of these schools. :)
