-Scholarships are out of 3 years total-

3-1-11.... Three acceptances, two rejections under my belt. The waitlist at MSU was surprise, but with a free application I'm not going to lose any sleep. It does make me nervous about my chances at TTU though, which is one of my top choices at this point. No word from STCL or Weslayan on scholarships, but I am under the impression these will come via snail mail.

3-3-11.... Out at SMU, not a surprise at all. I'm expecting to finish up this cycle within the next couple weeks. I'm going to ride the list at TTU or Houston if it happens, and withdraw from all but STCL.

3-8-11....Let's see. Received some decent money from Texas Weslayan. Just went under review at UH. Expecting to get dinged there, but stranger things have happened I guess. I'm getting impatient with TTU, I was expecting to have an answer from them by last week!

3-19-11.... Accepted at St. Louis, awarded 15k spread out over three years. Nice to hear, but still a very expensive school. Getting anxious about a decision from TTU and UH, thinking I may have to swallow a seat deposit to STCL while I wait.

3-22-11.... Received an email from STCL, granting me 4,600 per year in aid. (provided I maintain a 3.0 or above)

3-25-11.... What is going on at TTU and UH? I think they misplaced my application.

4-15-11.... Cycle complete. Finally admitted to Texas Tech. Still curious as to why I was never put on the waitlist. Have a tough decision to make between STCL and Tech now.

5-1-11.... Going to withdraw from STCL. Price being the driving factor here, as the cost of living and tuition are both in TTU's favor. Both are good schools in my opinion, and it pains me to have to leave Houston.

They said that scholly $ probably doesn't start rolling out until the end of March. That's kind of bad timing considering most school's first seat deposit is due around April 1. I really hope to get off of the Tech WL, though. Good luck with TTU.

Hey!! I see you were already accepted off the waitlist at MSU! Congratulations!! I've sent a letter of continued interest! Did you do anything particular to get in after you were waitlisted?! I am extremely hopeful I'll manage to get in somehow! Anything you could tell me (did your status checker change, did you hear you were accepted via e-mail or US mail??) would be much appreciated!! Congratulations on your many acceptances and good luck with Houston and the rest of your cycle :D
