LAW SCHOOL VISITS
9/18 - Visited Columbia and met with Asst Dean of Admissions.

9/21 - Visited GW and had a nice meeting and follow-up email exchange w/Dean Richard.

9/22 - Sat in on a class at Georgetown and toured the campus.

9/29 - Spent two days in Michigan visiting the campus and sitting in on classes. Had a great chat with Admissions, and met with Dean Gordan. Michigan staff and students are super nice.

10/2 - Info session and tour at NYU, friendly admissions staff.

SUBMITTING APPS
10/7 - Submitted majority of my apps. Applied ED to GULC and EA to BC.

10/14 - Submitted UCLA, UW, and Fordham (EA) apps.

10/21 - Submitted UVA app.

THE WAITING GAME
10/22 - Complete at American, BC, BU, Columbia, Fordham, U Chicago, U Michigan, U Penn, and UW.

10/26 - Complete at UCLA and UVA.

10/27 - Status changed to Pending Decision at BC.

10/28 - Status changed to Under Committee Review at Penn. Penn status changed again on 11/11.

10/30 - Status changed to Ready for Review at UW after they received by Dean's certification form.

11/2 - Complete at Georgetown after waiting for LORs to be received. Went under review on 11/11.

11/3 - Complete at NYU via email.

11/6 - Complete at GW via email.

11/18 - Just accepted at Fordham via status checker! Excited :)

11/25 - Finally under review at Chicago.

12/2 - Voicemail from BU saying I'm in! AH!

12/9 - BC status changed to Complete this morning, now it says Pending Decision 12/7. Also, GULC changed to UR again...

12/15 - GULC status checker changed to Decision Rendered. Received an email stating I was placed on the preferred waiting list. I'm bummed, but at least it wasn't a rejection.

12/17 - Finally home from Morocco and got my acceptance packets for Fordham, BU and BC :) Nice note from BU referencing my PS.

12/19 - Rejected via UPenn status checker. Kind of expected that, but still disappointed. Got the letter two days later.

1/4 - Not much recent news, but had my Northwestern alumni interview today in NYC. Planning a visit up to Boston in the next few weeks, and thinking about applying for the BU public interest scholarship.

1/11 - Accepted to GW via snail mail! So excited as DC is my top choice. Nice handwritten note at bottom of letter. Also submitted LOCI to GULC.

1/19 - Received my acceptance letter from UW ... thought the thin envelope was a rejection! Got a rejection email from U Chicago a few days later...

1/27 - In at UCLA via phone call from Dean Schwartz!!

2/15 - Reserve letter from Columbia! Was expecting a rejection, so this is exciting :) Decided not to apply for public interest scholarships at BU/BC.

2/24 - Waitlisted at American, withdrew immediately.

2/26 - Waitlisted at Michigan via email...

3/11 - Rejected at UVA via email.

4/1 - Rejected at Northwestern via email. Pondering ways to convince GULC to accept me...

4/4 - Received financial aid packages from UCLA and GW ... no love from Cali, but $13k per year grant at GW!

4/10 - LOVED GW's preview day yesterday. Sending in my deposit and can't wait to start at GW in the fall!
