1-6-11: Had my Alumni Interview with Northwestern, then got the email from UVA with the rejection. All my apps are in review, hoping for some good news soon.

1-11-11:MSU status says Re-Review in February, it's better than a rejection, right? Hopefully I'll get some good news in February from them.

1-26-11: Rejection email from Denver. I'm really worried now that my GPA is gonna make this cycle a lot more painful that I was expecting.

1-27-11: Waitlisted for Oklahoma's Early Admission Program. Wouldn't be able to attend the Early Admission Program, so I'm not gonna take up a valuable waitlist spot for somebody else.

2-4-11: Got a rejection letter from Texas Tech.

2-6-11: Getting a little worried about my cycle, decided to apply to Texas Southern as I should be an auto-admit there, at least.

2-8-11: Dinged via status checker at MSU.

2-18-11: Got the rejection email by Northwestern today.

2-23-11: I'm going to law school! Just got admitted to South Texas! It's my #2 choice, so unless I get into UH I'll probably be going there.

2-25-11: Rejected via status checker/email at UMN. Not too surprised by it, more surprised by the fact that it took them this long to ding me. Also, the rejection letter included an invitation to apply as a transfer applicant and said they would waive the app fee if I did that. So I guess they liked me, just not the numbers.

2-25-11: (later in day) Rejected by Harvard. Oh well.

3-4-11: I'm beginning to hate Fridays. 3rd Friday in a row that I've gotten a ding. UH this time, and it really hurts, they were my number 1 choice.

3-20-11: I was out of town for spring break, and when I got home there was an offer of admission from TSU in my mailbox. Most likely won't go there, but it's nice to have options to choose from.

3-29-11: Waitlisted by email at WUSTL. Honestly, I was expecting a straight up denial, so this is better than that.

4-27-11: Waitlisted by SMU, I'll be riding this WL out til the beginning of July.

5-11-11: Rejected by snail mail by Baylor.

good luck at south texas bruh..nice to see a brotha striving. Remember you can always transfer after a good year. Our numbers are similar so i hope I end up somewhere myself next year.
