10-19-07 Just got my LSAT score and I guessed correctly: 162.

12-07-07 Received acceptance to McGeorge via big, thick envelope. They gave me a merit scholar award which entitles me to free books and possible scholarships. They said I should be notified soon concerning financial aid.

12-21-07 Received $45,000 scholarship from McGeorge. Not a bad offer if I'm not accepted anywhere else.

01-14-08 Rejected at Boalt. Not a surprise at all. What really sucks though is that, by this point in the process, I thought that I would have some answers. But all I know is that I'm in at McGeorge and rejected at Boalt. I predicted that exactly. What I don't know is where I stand at Davis and Hastings, the two schools where I really don't know my chances and the two I actually care about attending. Anyone out there know why Davis isn't releasing many decisions?

03-21-08 Waitlisted at Davis. I'm really upset but not incredibly surprised. I'm really hoping that I'll get in and I plan on riding it out until the last minute. Anyone know what my chances are?

04-01-08 Waitlisted at Hastings too! So I really have no idea what I'm doing. I've only been accepted at McGeorge (And I really, really, really don't want to go there).

06-30-08 UC Davis sent me an email letting me know that I am off the waitlist. I'm attending and very excited!

of course boalt is my top choice! i went to ucb for undergrad, and loved it. realistically, i'm going with davis. what about you?

You predicted your own score to a "t"! I can't believe that. We are also applying to the same schools (minus McGeorge for me) and have similar numbers. I think you will do great - good luck to you!

i am super excited about davis. after 2-3 months stuck at "evaluation in progress", i couldn't believe they finally made a decision, and a positive one at that! i'm not sure why they're not releasing many decisions yet, but i suppose it may be due to their "holistic" review of the applicant?? i think that is good news for people with numbers in our range... anyway good luck with hastings and davis! i hope they come through for you!

congrats on that uop scholarship and good luck on hastings and davis, im waiting to hear back from them too and its driving me nuts! what makes you want to go to davis over hastings?
