10/7: Email from Columbia - initial application rcvd.
10/8: Email from Duke - initial application rcvd. I'll probably hear from them by the end of the month...
10/10: called Cornell, paper application rcvd.
10/10: application to Duke complete according to online status checker...I'll hear this week!
10/10: email from Columbia....application complete! ...I'm not that hopeful...but hey, fee waiver.
10/13: tour/"admissions appointment..yea right aka interview" at Michigan today, definitely applying ED.

i didn't know michigan did interviews! can you send me a message about what it was like? did you actually meet with an admissions counselor?

Were you sold on Mich before visiting? The representative I met at the law school forum was amazing and she answered every possible question I had about Michigan since I can't visit. I really want to do summer start. While I'd like to see my cycle ride out, I'm hoping ED will give me a push into the accept pile.

Ohhh I definitely want to live on campus for the first year. If you don't mind, did the area seem pedestrian friendly? I'm from NY, so I get along just fine without a car here. You must be excited, your Duke acceptance should be here by early next week latest. I haven't gone complete at Duke because they're waiting on one more LOR.
