Numbers might be a little off to stay on the DL... I'll update everything at the end of the cycle

1/9: Got my first acceptance! Vanderbilt black box via FedEx. Stokedd. Hopefully getting accepted this quickly (2 weeks after submitting) means a scholarship offer is coming...

1/20: In at UCLA via phone call from the dean. Definitely one of my top choices, but no scholarship offer was mentioned. Hopefully I'll have the opportunity to negotiate something later

2/22: Rejected at Berkeley via email. Bummer because I love norcal

2/26: Waitlisted at Columbia via email. Said my app was put in the "reserve group" to be reevaluated in late May... we'll see how that goes

2/28: Got my USC admitted students email yesterday, and today I received my scholarship offer. Super stoked on that 120k! In other news - also accepted to Georgetown today via snail mail. Definitely a good day

3/14: Waitlisted at UVA....disappointing. They're one of my top choices, but I guess I should have written a "Why UVA"

3/15: Scholarship to UCLA! Now the cost is about equal to USC.... decisions, decisions....

3/22: In at Pepperdine; Waitlisted at Duke... I really need to send a LOCI because they're one of my top choices.

3/25: Waitlisted at Michigan, another one of my top choices... I probably should have submitted a Why Michigan essay with my application.

4/11: Waitlisted at NYU and Penn. This has been a weird cycle. I guess/hope it's nowhere near being over.

4/15: On reserve at Cornell. I guess their official waitlist isn't formed until mid-May.

4/22: Stanford "decision letter sent" - rejected

5/9: Emailed a few schools with letters of continued interest last night and got a response from UVA today

5/10: Called the UVA dean in the morning and she told me I'm in off the waitlist!

5/16: Missed a phone call from NYU yesterday, but I called back today. The admissions officer just wanted to gauge my interest in NYU

5/22: Received my NYU acceptance package and a phone call from admissions shortly after!

5/23: Financial aid information from NYU came today, and it is pretty lacking. Not only do they expect an annual student contribution, but I would actually have to arrange more than half of my loans through private lenders (which means they wouldn't qualify for LRAP, I'm pretty sure)

Great cycle!!! We have similar numbers (at least I am PTing near your LSAT) so I am hopeful I have similar chances as you! I don't know if you will be able/willing to answer, but I am curious if you are AA, Hispanic/MA, Asian, etc. I'm just curious how similar we are :) Also, my dad went to UCLA law and loved it so I know you'll have a great time!
