Additional info & updates

6/2/08 2nd seat deposits due today... extremely hard time deciding between UofO and USD. Ultimately, I chose USD for its dominance of the SD legal market. Hopefully Wake will show me some love, if not, things could be worse!!!

5/18/08 Flew out to North Carolina to check out WFU. I love the place. Met with Mrs. Nutt, the director of admissions, and we had a very straight forward talk about the school and the waitlist situation.

FYI to all those on the Wake WL.... as I was told, their 'crystal ball' should become clear(er) in the middle of June.

Come on WFU...

5/1/08 I see Wake keeps admitting people off the WL with numbers just slightly above mine. Man I want my phone to ring and see a 336 area code starring back at me.
I can't assume I'll get into WF off the waitlist so at this point it's San Diego Vs UofO.

WF was my biggest reach so i'm actually pretty damn excited.
I'm gonna send a letter of continued interest and hopefully another letter of rec. I just might complete the tri- fecta and send in an addendum for my gpa. We'll see though.

I'm hoping that finishing two majors (BS and BA) in four years will be looked upon favorably.
I decided to switch from a French minor to French major midway through my junior year. This made for a very interesting final year and a half as none of my lower division classes transfered over from my BS to BA.
Long story short, I crammed 2.5 years of classes into my final year and still came away with a 3.5 gpa over my last two years.
