Congrats on Willamette Scholarship! Was letter e-mail or snail mail? I, too, noticed "admit" on my status checker--still waiting for letter/$$. Maybe I'll see you in Salem!

Thank you! Congrats to you too! I have most of that info listed under updates. Congrats to you too! Are you considering Willamette?

Def considering Willamette. I got same $cholly you did. How do you feel about that gap req? (Looks like Willamette curves 1L sections to ~2.9 gap, so seems like a 50/50 chance of losing scholly :/)

I'm not sure. I wonder what the percentage of people with higher (over half tuition) keep their $. Are you a strong lean towards Willamette at this point in the cycle? Chicago-Loyola doesn't have a gpa minimum. Are you trying to stay in the pnw? What kind of law do you want to practice?

Trying to stay in PNW. And you? Got a similar offer from U of Oregon, Seattle U offer was meh, and nothing from UW. So Oregon/Willamette top my list--just gotta negotiate and decide.

Thanks! I like the no gpa minimum, and they said they would negotiate when I called to ask if they do, but I do love being near the mountains. I don't know why my Oregon app is taking so long. I would like to stay in the PNW, but I also worry about the jobs when I get out of school. Portland has a pretty small market, and I just moved from Seattle which has gotten really expensive. I'd really love to go to Colorado, but it doesn't seem like that's going to work out.

Hey, congratulations on your acceptances? I have somewhat similar stats, was wondering if Denver offered you anything scholarship wise?

Hi, thank you! They did not offer any scholarship money, but I may contact them to see if that is negotiable. From what I've read online, it seems like it isn't.

I see you withdrew at Willamette, and W/L at Oregon--You leaning loyola? I'm a little worried about jobs in PNW too, but some research I've done suggests Oregon might be looking good over the next few years.

Hi - yeah, I'm definitely leaning towards Loyola. I visit the campus in a few weeks, and I'll decide for sure then. I miss living in a big city, and the PNW just doesn't have any big cities. Which one are you leaning towards?

Congrats on your acceptances! Be wary of Loyola if you don't want to practice law in Chicago for the rest of your life. It is very much a local school.

Thank you!I hope so too! But they'll need to get close to Depaul's scholarship amount for me to really consider it, since both schools have pretty much the same job placements. But maybe i'll be seeing you at Loyola in the fall!

Congrats on that scholarship from Kent! That's an amazing amount and they're usually stingy. I actually just visited them also like two weeks ago. I was shocked how good their Advocacy program is.
