In regard to your question, I don't have any particularly outstanding softs and am not a diversity candidate. I'm first generation American but my family comes from England so I couldn't use that.

I am the Legal Assistant to the founder of a fairly sized firm in Philadelphia, but I wouldn't think that would have counted for too much.

I was somewhat surprised to have received a waitlist from Fordham. I fully expected to be denied, but I think it goes to show you that Fordham is a school who will go beyond the numbers.

While my numbers are fairly good, there are many who have been rejected with better numbers.

I thought I wrote a strong personal statement which focused on continual progression, but I can't really pinpoint what it was about my application that they liked.

All I can say is best of luck. Fordham is a tremendous school. 321159
