12/15 - TS1 email

12/16 - In at NYU! My dad's an alum so they called so he could give me the good news (adorable policy).

12/18 - TS1 call (eek!)

12/22 - TS2 call!! I love that both my TS1 and my TS2 calls came while I was mid-bite. Toby - I promise I do things other than eat!

1/23 - After a month since my last acceptance...3 in one day! In at Columbia via letter, Stanford via email (Dean Deal couldn't reach me by phone), and UPenn via voicemail. I'm incredibly excited and feel extremely lucky.

late March - In at Yale. OMG! I could not possibly be happier.

4/1 - Withdrew from NYU and Columbia.

4/27 - Withdrew from Stanford. Sob. I unexpectedly fell in love with SLS during admit weekend but as seductive as Stanford was, I just couldn't bring myself to leave my beloved East Coast.

4/29 - Withdrew from Harvard. This one was actually a bit easier, despite HLS' amazingness, since their financial aid package was much less generous than either Yale's or Stanford's.

4/29 - Mailed my deposit to Yale. = )
