@ADHDfun...I submitted my app 3/12 and it went under review 3/16. I was given a decision 4/18 as a wait listed candidate. I applied part time so I really hope I get in! It's my number 1 choice and I live like 20 minutes away! I hear you on the transferring thing. I still haven't gotten an email from La Verne...on my status checker it says decision mailed 5/1...but after looking your experience and having to wait for a "mass" email...I don't know how good it looks for me. @vas....Congrats on your acceptance. Where do you currently live? Good luck coming out here...itll be such a great experience. I moved here from Florida 10 years ago and I love it! @lawschoolmami...Did you with draw today? What school are you leaning towards? Thanks for the info about your withdraw...I really hope I get a spot in the class.
I withdrew my acceptance today. I am debating between Golden Gate and Cal Western. I was accepted into Golden Gate's Public Interest Scholars Program which seems pretty awesome. I was also awarded a scholarship specifically for being in that program and will receive loan repayment assistance after graduation. However, Cal Western's bar passage and employment rates are higher. Also, Cal Western offers some sort of loan repayment assistance to students who work in public interest after graduation as well. Though, I don't believe they have a public interest program that is comparable to Golden Gate's. I'm completely torn between these two!
It's my number 1 choice, too, and I live 20 minutes away. I'm looking forward to making adult friends instead of having to sift through all the kids in an undergrad program. It's been rough. Lol
Have you heard anything yet from Whittier? I got an email last Friday saying that they were going to be sending us a memo on 5/29 with all of our information for email and schedules, etc. It sounded like they had a good idea of who was going to attend/who wasn't and who was getting in off the waitlist. So if you haven't, then you might very soon!!!
I have not heard anything at all from Whittier! Which is such a bummer. I finally emailed them asking if my file had anything new on it and the person who emailed me back said that it had not yet been re-reviewed. This was like a week and a half ago. Although, two Saturdays ago I got an acceptance letter to Thomas Jefferson in SD. I am going to visit the school next week. I am very excited about my acceptance to TJSL, so I'm giving Whittier until my deposit at TJSL is due and if nothing then I'm moving on lol.
That's awesome! Every time I spoke to someone at TJLS they were always so nice! Congrats!!
My dear friend couldn't get in anywhere, but TJSL finally let him in. He earned a spot in the top of his class and transferred to San Fran, just graduated, and is studying for the bar! Do you and worry about maintaining your grades! You rock!
My friend was suuuuuper stoked to become accepted ANYWHERE. However, TJSL was the only place that accepted him. He quickly rose to the top of his class and transferred out. He enjoyed it, but the prospects for jobs coming out of that school aren't going to be as easy as someone at a T3, T2, or T1....am I making sense?
CONGRATULATIONS on getting off the waitlist!!! Super excited for ALL of us girls :) The application phase is coming to an end and we'll be law school students in just a few months. Incredible. I know that we'll do great and I hope that we continue to update this forum with our law school experience as it manifests. I'll keep checking back to see where you and ADHDfunLSAT end up this fall cause vas1990 is set on Whittier :)

Hey Girlie, When did you submit your app to Whittier? I'm stressing! I really don't want to have to start out at a CBE school and transfer to Whittier. I can't take 9 months off from school! :/
