Re: Columbia W

Thanks very much, but yeah, I withdrew from Columbia because for a bunch of reasons I'd rather attend some of the schools to which I've already been accepted. So it didn't seem right to wait for a decision.

On BU,etc..

So, you're in at some of the best schools. Barring 100% certainty that you want to practice in Boston for the rest of your life, you should opt for the best school that you get into. BU is a great school, but recruiting efforts are going to be sparse for other areas of the country. That's not to say that you couldn't work hard enough to gain national mobility (i.e. graduating in the Top 10% of your class), but the bottom-line is that a degree from UChicago will get you an interview pretty much anywhere in the country....

you would get interviews anywhere w. a degree from UVa, UofM, UPenn, and NYU, just as well.....

congrats...
