11/25/09 - So far I've applied to GWU (early decision for scholarship $), Georgetown, Columbia, and William and Mary. I'm going to apply to the rest after Thanksgiving. Happy Holiday All!

12/10/09- All applications in and awaiting decisions!

12/17/19 - Got my first decision back yesterday. Accepted to American University. :)

12/22/09 - just got an e-mail from Penn State telling me I am accepted and one from NYU notiying me that my application is complete and has been sent for review! I highly doubt I'll get accepted to NYU but its worth a shot!

1/14/10 - I'm starting to get antcy... haven't heard anything since before Christmas. I would even welcome a rejection from Columbia or NYU (which I expect to get anyway), just something that lets me know all my applications haven't mysteriously disappeared!

1/16/10 - I came home to a letter from GWU yesterday saying that I was not accepted through early decision but will be considered for regular admission. Oh well, at least I have options now and I'm not locked into one school.

1/27/10 - So I came home tonight to an acceptance package from Seton Hall telling me that I have been accepted and awarded the Chancellor scholarship of 35,000 for my first year. The scholarship will be renewed every year so long as I continue to stay in the top 50% of my class.

2/1/10 - got my acceptance letter from Villanova in the mail today and accepted at Temple via Status Checker!

2/13/10 - I got a letter from Columbia yesterday rejecting me. I'm not upset, I didn't expect to get in anyway. :)

2-25-10 - "Decision rendered" at Georgetown, but no rejection e-mail yet (very nervous. I'm either waitlisted or e-mail is taking long :/) And waitlisted at Fordham... w/e not really to keen on going there.

3-19-10- Ugh.. I don't know where to go!!!!!! The scholarship offer from Seton Hall is awesome, and I could live with my parents if I go there, but it's not the best school I've gotten into. All the schools I wanted to go to I've been rejected or waitlisted at. Any one have any suggestions as to what I should do?

4-2-10 - so i've pretty much decided that I'm going to Seton Hall becasue of the scholarship offer. I just have to talk to a few of my professors first. Other than that I got an e-mail from american today offering me 10,000 for the first year in scholarship $. It's not enough though to even consider taking on so much debt after I graduate.

I'm talking to my professors on wednesday and then I'll be withdrawing from the other schools shortly after that. I just want to make sure that I'm making the right decision first. I'm not too keen about moving back in with my parents but it will save a lot of money and they said I can get a cat so that's a plus :)
