Congrats on your acceptance to WNE. We are both waiting for the same phone calls!

Same here
Wednesday, July 17 2013 at 07:25 PM

I went to UCONN'S open house but not WNEs. I will hit them up soon. I am hoping to go there too because of the cash and its right down the street. I'm in Canton. I am relieved though about WNE and will more than likely go there instead of Quinnipiac if I have to chose between the two.

Oh, I felt completely at ease at WNE's open house. It was really, really great. I think they have one coming up in February. It's listed on their website. You should really go. I would pick WNE over Qunni, too. So maybe we'll meet at the Admitted Student Orientation at WNE in April. Good luck with UConn!

I will definitely check the OH out. Unless Quinni hands over a great scholarship (which I doubt) I would easily take WNE. Its a couple of thou cheaper, its closer and a much easier drive, and I really like the idea of a smaller class size. Good luck with UCONN too. Definitely save some bucks there.

Cuffs, did you get your admit package from WNEU yet? I'm one of those impatient people...I may be bald by the time school starts in August...

LOL...just saw this LTC. I did get it several days after the call so you should (I hope) have yours by now. I am developing some severe behavioral problems checking the status checkers, inbox, junk mail, spam, etc. every 10 minutes for word on the other two schools (just 'cause I'm impatient too).

Congrats on QU, LTC! We have only to get 1 more acceptance letter!

LSAT SCORE
Tuesday, December 31 2013 at 12:13 PM

I know you're probably sick of hearing this but why not retake? I'd give anything to have that GPA.... It would go nicely with a 160+

Retake
Friday, August 23 2013 at 01:31 PM

I will not be retaking it because I after registering to take the June one, and withdrawing last minute to study more to take the October one, I knew that I couldn't cram any more study time/practice tests into my schedule. Also, I felt like I was as good as I was going to get at that point in time unless I took time off from work to study more, which really was not an option. Besides, once the timer starts, all the strategy I learned in LSAT classes, books, etc. went right out the window. My PT scores were much better when I didnt time myself.

Yeah, the numbers totally work against anyone with a job/family/both. I wish there was an option for a school to not report scores for non trad students who work, because I think more of us would be at the top of the list if they didn't have to report our statistics. Maturity and balancing/organizing our time gives us a kind of potential to succeed at law school that just isn't weighed appropriately.

I definitely agree with that.

And congrats (again :-)) LTC I knew you were gonna get the nod...they just wanted to mess with ya a bit. One more to go!!!!!

Friday, August 23 2013 at 01:31 PM

I COMPLETELY second PattyCake's comments about non-trads and numbers. In other news, I FINALLY went under review at UConn as of 1/29. You two have been under review for a little while now. Any decision yet?

Congrats

Congrats on your cycle, I'm hoping to get into uconn as well but it's a reach for me. I got into wnec and went to there open house. I felt comfortable there and the commute was definitely easier than qu. Anyways hope you hear good news from uconn, i wishing for the same.
