It's obvious that my lsat score sucks--my GPA is great though and I have many honors, WE, LOR, & volunteer experience. Hopefully the admissions committees will see this..

10/27/04-Rec'd WL from St. Thomas via mail
1/20/05-Rec'd Acceptance from Cooley via mail (large manilla envelope) w/25% scholarship
2/07/05-Rec'd Rejection from Hofstra via regular size envelope, you win some, you lose some, eh?
2/23/05-Rec'd Rejection from St. John's via regular size envelope. No surprise here, this one was a shot in the dark. Oh well, let's see what the others have to say...
2/24/05-Rec'd something weird from NSU--looked like something they used to mail grades out in--it was notifying me of my new password for my new email account at NSU Webstar, but it also said that "this notice does not imply acceptance to NSU" I don't get it?
3/16/05-Ok, now I've been rejected from CUNY. This is embarrasing! I think I may need to wait another year & retake my LSAT--I can't believe it's such a numbers game.
3/21/05-Rec'd "Priority Wait List" from NSU via white regular size envelope. When do they plan on telling you if you're in, the day b/f f*n class begins?

04/27/05-Do you think that Touro could take any longer to give a fucking decision? Same with the WL on Nova. Oh yea, and I closed my file at St. Thomas. It looks like I may not be going to Law School this year. I suppose I'll need to re-take the oh-so-fun LSAT again. COOL I'm so excited.

6/7/05--GREAT. A rejection from Touro now. I'm holding out for NSU's waiting list to pan out. I hope & pray I get in there as it is my first choice school!

07/21/05--ok, NSU called and let me in. HOWEVER, it was only for PT at night. I didn't want that...I'm not moving to FL to go PT. My job counteroffered and now I'm staying at my job. I guess everything happens for a reason and law school wasn't meant to be...at least not for now! At least I won't have the debt to look forward too...maybe I'll try again in a year or two..

hey i'm in the same boat... it's crazy how many people seem to be getting into schools with a really crappy gpa but good lsat score.. too bad it doesn't work the other way around. best of luck.

Hey, I have applied to St, John Hofstra and Touro too. Hofstra I am still waiting to hear from the other two rejected me - good luck though - hey my Lsat score is worse than yours

I am still waiting for cuny , that have asked me for so much information you would think I was running for office. I know how you feel . I have a horrible LSAt score . I really wish you all the best and If you want it bad . I would goto Cooley and eat , drink and sleep law school and transfer. This is may second go around .
