Additional info & updates

Deceded Im going to Pitt. 10k/yr scholarship + in state tuition means I will only be paying 10-11k a year for tuition.

3/2 - Maryland put me "on hold," not really sure what that means though, seems like a glorified waitlist.

2/20 - Got in at Wake!

2/2 - Got a package from florida today. I was actually a little surprised to have gotten in. LSAC calculator puts my chances of U of F at the same as emory, so lets hope I get into emory. Is it harder to get into U of F from out of state?

1/26 - heard from Seton Hall, they gave me 26k a year.

1/21 - Got my first rejection, Fordham. This was pretty much expected though. It would be cool to get into one of the top 30 ranked schools that I applied to, but doubtful.

Only thing that I hope can save my crappy GPA is that I am an engineering major ....

Thanx ... I dont think I recieved one of those emails. On dec. 13th I got an email of "confirmation of reciept". It is possible I got one of those under review emails and misplaced it, but i dont see it.

Good Luck

Good luck. Atleast you ended up with an engineering degree. I switched to history from aero engineering my junior year and never pulled my gpa up as high as i wanted it.

well in any case if you decide rutgers isnt your top choice at the moment, could you please inform the admissions office?

Thanks ...

Hey, thanks that was actually a worry of mine, especially since I think I would like to stay in the mid-atlantic or northeast. I didnt choose American though because of its cost. Pitt has essentially the same median salary as American, and it is much cheaper.
