Hi GTE, Yes, I was invited to participate in the AAMPLE program. However, I am still undecided at this point.
Congrats on the acceptances. I'm new to this thing so I sent u a private message by accident. We sort of have the same numbers. But I didnt apply this cycle because I figured I wouldnt get accepted anywhere. Did you have any soft factors that made u stand out for NYLS's AAMPLE program?
I received an email from Atlanta John Marshall Law School on Friday (3/19/10), informing me that they are still thinking. LOL!!!

I first learned that I received an invitation to the AAMPLE program, via status checker online. Next, I received a packet containing all of the information regarding the invitation. However, I rcently decided not to attend.
At this point, I have paid the tuition to attend the summer program at Widener Law School. However, I'm still waiting to hear from my top schools. What's taking so long! Guess no news is good news..... Wish me well!
Today, I got an acceptance letter to FAMU Law School, in Florida. Still waiting to hear from my TOP schools.
Yesterday, I received a denial letter from Seton Hall. Not really disappointed about this one, as the PT tuition and fees total $32,430.
The status checker only said "Decision Rendered". The letter came in a regular envelope and the outside had a "Welcome to the FAMily" stamp. However, I recently send in a decline on their offer. I've decided to attend another institution. I hope you get in though! Good luck!
Thanks! I don't feel bad about it at all. Actually, they didn't have a PT program and I need to attend PT. I only applied because of my closet friends is an alumni and told me too. No hard feeling over here....lol
Currently, I'm attending the summer TAP program at Widener Law School, and I'm so glad that I decided to attend. So far, this has been an invaluable experience. Being able to take three classes (civil procedure, torts, and legal methods & writing) has already provided me with essential tools needed for first year law sschool success. The professors are so dedicated to wanting the students in the program to succeed. On the other hand, it requires serious dedication from the student, as this program is really intense. Anyway, just wanted to share a few thoughts about the program. We take finals the last week of June!
How did TAP go?? I did not pass AAMPLE... Got a "C" but needed a "C+"... I'm heading to Touro.
Did you get an offer to the online aample program from nyls??
