12/5- In via status checker at Mercer.

12/7- Phone call from Mercer asking if I had any questions and congratulating me on acceptance.

1/25/13- Received email from Mercer for $16,500 scholarship per year based on good academic standing. Disappointing since they usually give out so many full tuition scholarships.

2/16/2013- Received scholarship info from UGA. $5,000 per year with 2.7 (B-) stipulation.

2/18/2013- Negotiated scholarship offer with Mercer. They raised it from $16,500 to $18,00 per year. Definitely withdrawing soon.

3/6/2013- Received rejection email from Duke today. Expected but this decision took forever. First review was 1/2/2013 and then another review on 3/1 before decision was made.

3/20/2013- Received Dean's scholarship from Georgia State. Includes $5,000 for the first year and a $2,500 summer stipend and graduate research position. The second and third year tuition will be waived.

My LSAT number is lower than your and I am not URM but I had similar numbers to people who received full rides to Mercer in the past. I was disappointed as well, and I am unsure if they are just not doing that this year. With that said I think they will have a hard time competing for GA students with schools like UGA and GA St having lower tuition than them, without the significant scholly numbers.
