1/15 - In at Baylor (Summer and Fall) via email with half tution scholarship. Great way to start the cycle
1/20 - In review @ UW
1/23 - In at UNM via Snail Mail. Nice to make it in in hometown. Safety but close to home. Won't really work out with wife's job prospects. They're going to need to give me something
1/26 (2/2) - In at Santa Clara via SC and then snail mail with 14K a year. Not too bad but not really on the radar.
1/28 - Lewis&Clark SC changed to decision processed - wish I knew what the decision is
1/28 - Email from Berkeley saying that I'm going under review... Hey, I can dream!
1/28 - In review (changed from 1/20) at UW
2/5 - Accepted at Temple via SC. Not really on the radar right now cause I want to stay west, but nice to be accepted.
2/11 - Came home to a Big Envelope from Temple
2/12 - Big Envelope from Lewis & Clark... WOOHOO! In addition, 15k/year is not a bad deal at all. Definitely mixing things up. OH, YEAH, and a letter from Seattle U saying they never received my letter or money. They're going to get a very nasty email and a big WD.
2/17 - Acceptance email from University of Cincinnati
2/19 - Acceptance email from Illinois! Always nice to be loved!
2/24 - First non-yes, WL from UVA. Better than I had hoped, but I think from UVA it's about as good as a rejection. Snail Mail Acceptance packet from UIUC
3/2 - First Rejection from Berkeley :( Oh well, probably for the better with COL in Cali - First one still stings a bit
3/3 - ACCEPTANCE FROM COLORADO - Got an email for the admitted students open house telling me they sent my packet on Friday. WOOHOO!!! Boulder, here I come!
3/7 - Scholly money from Illinois - Very interesting
3/9 - Accepted at UVA!!! Holly cow. That's AWESOME
3/12 - Snail Mail acceptance from Oregon w/ 2k per year. Always nice to be loved
3/12 - Status checker finally changed to decision 3/13 at UW... WHAT'S THE DECISION... THAT'S CRUEL
3/31 - Just got back from visiting UC Boulder. Loved it. However, came home to an email that there will be no money from them and snail mail money from UNM. Getting to be decision time...

Thanks a lot! It definitely came as a surprise. I honestly think it was the soft factors that pushed me over. LOCs were only decent, numbers were decent for Berkeley at best, PS covered an aspect of my softs. Best of luck to you with all your schools!

Ah bummer about Berkeley, but solid work on Boulder! I still have yet to hear from Duke or UCLA. Not sure it matters much at this point - I'm pretty much set on Boalt!
