Congratulations on Tech! Yeah, I think I can help you out. There are a ton of apartments here that fit that criteria, so email me if you have a specific price range/neighborhood/distance in mind. Some of the more popular unfurnished ones really close to campus are: Sierra Crossing--550/month for a single. Easily within walking distance of the north end of campus. Poco Apts.--close to campus (but also construction). Lower quality, but much cheaper--something like 325 for an efficiency, 389 for a single. Raider Station--A lot of people I know stay here. It's a little further from campus, but has cable, internet, and all bills included. Not sure about a 1br, but a 2/2 is 800. Nice looking. College Pointe--Close to campus; pretty nice. Quiet, from my experience. Around 500 for a 1/1. Well, that's just what I came up with off the top of my head. Like I said, email me if you have any other questions. Looking forward to seeing you here

It's pretty nice. Honestly I only know from checking it out while looking for an apartment. It's very close to campus, and while it's technically within walking distance, it's now separated by the new highway extension, so there's no way it'd be convenient. It was better looking inside than out, which is the better option I guess. It just looks a little like a hotel from the outside. But it's really cheap and it seemed relatively quiet.
